MASTER CLASS: "Part 2: Digging Deep into the EDITS System"
Two Week Course October 18 - 31, 2009
by Margie Lawson
Part two of DIGGING DEEP provides time to analyze your work with the EDITS System, get feedback, work on the areas you need to strengthen. It's an opportunity for you to clarify points, anchor what you've learned, and use it. Think: Diagnose and Treat. Applying the EDITS System, you'll know WHAT editing you need to do WHERE, WHY you need to edit that passage, and HOW (multiple options that fit you and your writing) to make that passage stronger.
Margie Lawson, a practicing psychologist, has developed innovative psychologically-anchored editing systems and techniques that teach writers how to write a page-turner. She teaches on-line and presents full day master classes. Her schedule for 2008 includes presenting in Columbus, Houston, Shreveport, Syracuse, Tacoma, Washington DC area, Detroit, Fort Worth, Denver, Minneapolis, Atlanta, and Madison. Overseas, she’ll present full-day master classes in Auckland, New Zealand and Melbourne, Australia .
Margie also teaches: Empowering Characters’ Emotions, Rhetorical Devices, and More, and Defeat Self-Defeating Behaviors. For more information, visit her web site at www.MargieLawson.com.
