MASTER CLASS: "Your Complete Synopsis"
by Laurie Schnebly Campbell
This class picks up where "Tips From Madison Avenue: The Selling Synopsis" leaves off. With hands-on, individual attention to your project, you'll finish the limited-enrollment session ready to hit "print" and mail your synopsis to the contest, the editor or the agent of your dreams. Learn:
* The key questions to ask before writing
* What to include, and what to leave out
* How to uncover the character arc
* Whether or not the setting matters
* How much backstory to reveal
* When to mention a possible sequel
After five years of teaching how advertising techniques can make synopsis writing easier, Laurie Schnebly Campbell is STILL thrilled whenever someone from her class reports selling from a synopsis. (It gives her an excuse to go celebrate with chocolate.) She's hoping for even more chocolate after this inaugural master class!
Prerequisite: Must have taken "Tips From Madison Avenue: The Selling
Synopsis."
